If you’re tired of wasting time sitting on the sidelines and waiting for your nagging injuries to go away, it’s time to get pro-active about your approach.  Every injury over the course of your life has the potential to produce compensations in how you move.  These compensation patterns can become cumulative and create the wear and tear that is associated with aging (arthritis, degenerative discs, etc) and pain.

However, you CAN do something about it without taking drastic measures.

Even with existing degeneration in the joints and discs, when you optimize HOW you move, your improved dynamic alignment allows the body to perform more efficiently, with fewer destructional forces, and often with less pain.

This is why there are people who have crazy MRI’s/X-Rays with all sorts of findings that would make an orthopedic surgeon drool, BUT they don’t have pain.  (Think about that one next time your ortho tells you your knees are "bone on bone" or that you've got a "bulging disc").

So…before you reach for that pill, sign up for that surgery, or think that you need to give up those activities you love, make sure that you’ve addressed your movement quality first.
